Syrian Presidency: President Ahmad al-Sharaa Conducted a Phone Call with U.S. President Donald Trump
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (United News Network – UNN Arabic) – The Syrian Presidency announced in an official statement today, Monday, that Syrian Transitional President Ahmad al-Sharaa conducted a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump.
The statement, published by the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), quoted the two presidents emphasizing the importance of preserving the territorial integrity and independence of Syria, and supporting all efforts aimed at achieving stability in the country.
They also stressed during the call the necessity of ensuring the rights and protection of the Kurdish people, emphasizing that this must occur “within the framework of the Syrian state.”
The statement added that both sides agreed to continue cooperation in combating terrorism and violent organizations.
