7 civilians killed in Al-Nashwa neighborhood of Al-Hasakah city following an attack by the “SDF”
Local sources in Syria, including activists and local media, reported that seven civilians were killed in the Al-Nashwa neighborhood of Al-Hasakah city as a result of an attack launched by the “SDF” (Syrian Democratic Forces). The sources indicated that the “SDF” used sniper fire and drones in the attack.
Local pages and activists on social media, primarily Facebook, along with the Syrian newspaper “Al-Thawra,” reported today, Wednesday, that the “SDF” deployed its forces in the neighborhood, noting that this occurred “amid fears of further massacres being committed.”
The besieged neighborhoods are witnessing military mobilizations and the presence of trenches and heavy armed vehicles, which increases the state of terror and anxiety among local residents.
Earlier today, the Al-Yaarubiyah area in the Al-Hasakah countryside witnessed explosions of unknown origin, as local authorities and media have not yet been able to confirm their nature or determine the party responsible for them.
For its part, the Syrian Ministry of Defense, through a statement issued by Brigadier General Hassan Abdel Ghani, stressed its keenness to protect civilians and prevent bloodshed, calling on the “SDF” to adhere to the terms of the agreements concluded to stop the violence.
