CNN anchor addresses White House press secretary criticizing her defense of a Trump verbal slip

CNN anchor Jake Tapper criticized White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt after she defended a “slip of the tongue” by President Donald Trump during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Trump repeatedly mentioned the name “Iceland,” which indicated he meant Greenland, as Tapper noted. When a female journalist pointed out the error in a tweet, Leavitt responded, stating that the President had made no mistake and that Greenland is a “piece of ice,” blaming the journalist for “mixing things up.”
