Saudi Weather Forecast for Monday: Fog Formation, Rain, and Temperature Drop

The National Center of Meteorology, in its weather report for Monday, December 22, 2025, predicted the continued formation of fog over parts of the Riyadh, Eastern, and Northern Borders regions, with a chance of light rain over parts of the Kingdom’s southwestern highlands.

The report indicated that the sky will be partially cloudy to cloudy over several regions, amid a noticeable drop in temperatures, especially in the north and center of the Kingdom. The capital, Riyadh, recorded a high of 17°C and a low of 7°C, while temperatures in Arar reached a high of 14°C and a low of 2°C.

The temperature and weather report showed that Makkah recorded a high of 32°C and Jeddah 31°C, while minimum temperatures in some northern cities ranged between 5°C and 7°C.

In the Red Sea, surface winds will be northeasterly to northerly over the northern and central parts, and southeasterly over the southern part, with speeds reaching 50 km/h toward Bab al-Mandab. Wave heights will range from one to two and a half meters, with sea conditions being moderate to rough in the south.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly at speeds of 16–36 km/h, with wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, and light to moderate sea conditions.

The National Center of Meteorology called for caution and alertness, especially in areas witnessing weather fluctuations, emphasizing the need to follow continuous updates through its official platforms for the latest weather developments.
