Integrated readiness to serve the Guests of the Most Merciful in Makkah

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through its branch in the Makkah Region, has intensified its service and field efforts in the mosques of the Holy Capital, as part of its operational plan for the Hajj season of 1447 AH, ensuring mosque readiness and improving the level of services provided to the Guests of the Most Merciful.

These efforts included strengthening monitoring and follow-up teams to ensure rapid response to mosque needs, in addition to intensifying maintenance, operation, and cleaning work according to the highest approved standards, as well as increasing the number of security guards to regulate worshippers’ movement and control the flow of entry and exit, creating a suitable environment for performing acts of worship in an atmosphere of ease and tranquility.

On the awareness side, the branch continues to implement guidance programs, religious lessons, and awareness messages, while providing services to answer pilgrims’ and Umrah performers’ inquiries in multiple languages, as part of enhancing religious awareness and effective communication with the Guests of the Most Merciful.

These initiatives reflect the ministry’s keenness to care for the houses of Allah and raise the quality of services provided during the Hajj season.

Field protection and tight organization in the holy rituals

As an extension of the operational and organizational efforts undertaken during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, and after the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance announced increased mosque readiness and enhanced services in Makkah, field efforts continue in the holy sites to ensure the comfort and safety of the Guests of the Most Merciful.

Pilgrim movement is witnessing precise organization and high fluidity under the supervision of the relevant Hajj authorities, within an integrated system aimed at facilitating the performance of rituals in a safe and well-prepared environment.

This includes providing sun umbrellas and cold water for pilgrims to protect them from exposure to sunlight and high temperatures, in addition to strengthening service points and field support, ensuring smooth movement without congestion.

Field reports, according to “Al-Ekhbariya,” confirm that this organization comes as a result of tight coordination between various concerned entities, reflecting a high level of readiness aimed at providing maximum comfort and safety for the Guests of the Most Merciful throughout the day.

Traffic in Hajj: high flow and integrated security

As part of the ongoing service and organizational efforts during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, Hajj Security Forces for Traffic Affairs are intensifying their field strategies to ensure smooth movement within Makkah and the holy sites, while preventing unauthorized vehicles and facilitating the movement of pilgrims between the sites.

The system relies on modern technologies and smart control systems, in addition to trained field personnel to monitor traffic and address any congestion in real time, enhancing transportation efficiency and the safety of the Guests of the Most Merciful.

The procedures also include organizing permits and defining precise routes for buses according to approved schedules, within a traffic system aimed at achieving the highest levels of safety and smooth flow during the performance of rituals.

From the call to prayer to the Kaaba: a moving story of guidance that lights up the Hajj atmosphere

Among the moving human scenes accompanying this year’s Hajj season, and alongside the organizational and service efforts in the holy sites, a notable humanitarian story documented by a Saudi photographer has emerged, reflecting the deep spiritual dimension of this faith journey.

Saudi photographer “Mahmoud Hamed” documented emotional moments of an Italian pilgrim named “Mohamed Luca,” who arrived in Makkah as part of this year’s pilgrims after a long journey that began in his childhood when he first heard the call to prayer on television, a moment that later led him to embrace Islam about 20 years ago.

The beginning of the story: “a sound that changed the path”

In a video published by “Hamed” on TikTok, the Italian pilgrim recalled his journey in search of Islam, explaining that the call to prayer he heard at the age of twelve left him with a deep sense of peace and tranquility, later pushing him to read and learn more about Islamic teachings.

“Luca” said that many years of searching led him to a firm conviction, after finding in Islam “clarity and serenity” that were the main reason for his decision to embrace it with full belief and certainty.

Supplication at the Kaaba and wide interaction

With deep emotions, the Italian pilgrim revealed that his first supplication upon seeing the Holy Kaaba was asking God to guide his parents to Islam, citing the verse: “And say, ‘My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small.’”

The video received wide interaction across social media platforms, with many considering it one of the most inspiring human stories recurring during the Hajj season, reflecting journeys of guidance experienced by the Guests of the Most Merciful from various countries around the world.

Hajj rituals officially continue on Monday with the overnight stay in Mina on the 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah, followed by standing at Mount Arafat on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah to perform the greatest pillar of Hajj.

These scenes reflect the integration between service and organizational efforts in Makkah and the holy sites, along with the touching human stories of the Guests of the Most Merciful, forming a comprehensive picture of a Hajj season where field care intertwines with spiritual depth, in a fully integrated faith experience combining precise organization and spiritual tranquility.
