The Lebanese President receives the Saudi ambassador in a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun received Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Bukhari in a farewell meeting marking the end of his diplomatic mission in Beirut.
During the meeting, President Aoun awarded Ambassador Al-Bukhari the National Cedar Medal at the rank of Grand Officer, praising the role played by the Saudi Embassy in strengthening fraternal relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and developing them across various fields, and wishing him success in his future assignments.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Bukhari thanked the Lebanese President for awarding him the medal and for the support he received during his tenure in Lebanon. He also expressed his hope that Lebanon would regain its brilliance and active role among regional countries, and that its people would enjoy stability, security, and prosperity, remaining a destination for its brothers and admirers.
