Residents of Al-Bahita housing are complaining about a sharp decline in the level of basic services, amid an absence of necessary remedies since the units were handed over, causing continuous suffering for the residents and a negative impact on their daily lives.
Residents pointed out that the neighborhood significantly lacks street lighting, posing an increasing danger to pedestrians, alongside an absence of landscaping and a deterioration of the area’s general appearance. They also noted the lack of proper sidewalks for pedestrians, amid a noticeable delay in asphalt works that the residents are suffering from.
In addition, there is a severe shortage of waste containers, as well as a lack of real projects to provide sewage systems or desalinated water in the neighborhood. This decline in services directly affects the residents’ quality of life and hinders local development.
The residents of Al-Bahita housing expressed their hope for swift action from the competent authorities to address these observations and improve the level of services provided, meeting the residents’ needs and restoring the neighborhood to the ideal condition in which it was received.
