The Real Estate Authority Urgently Refers 14 Violating Projects to the Public Prosecution

1 Min Read

The General Authority for Real Estate has referred 14 real estate projects and developers to the Public Prosecution, after monitoring violations that included practicing off-plan real estate sales activities and receiving financial sums from beneficiaries without obtaining the approved statutory licenses. These violations occurred in several cities across the Kingdom, in clear violation of the provisions of the Law on Sale and Leasing of Off-plan Real Estate Projects and its executive regulations.

The General Authority for Real Estate stressed that it will not tolerate monitoring violating real estate practices and advertisements that would breach real estate laws and legislation, or affect the reliability of the real estate market or the rights of those involved.
