## Ministry of Health Launches Inspection Rounds for Migrant Labor and Food Worker Screening Centers
The Ministry of Health has announced the launch of inspection rounds targeting screening centers for migrant labor and food workers, as part of its continuous efforts to strengthen health oversight, protect public health, and raise the level of compliance with health requirements. This ensures the accuracy and safety of medical procedures and contributes to enhancing prevention and readiness to face health risks, in line with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program derived from Saudi Vision 2030.
The field inspection rounds aim to verify commitment to applicable health regulations, including: the Law of Practicing Healthcare Professions and its executive regulations, the Private Health Institutions Law and its executive regulations, and other relevant health systems.
The Ministry emphasized to the concerned institutions the importance of commitment to reporting infectious diseases via designated platforms, not issuing any health certificate except after an actual medical examination, adhering to working with licensed medical cadres, providing the minimum required accredited staff in necessary specialties, and completing the required regulatory permits. It also stressed the necessity of using licensed and valid medical devices and products, and providing approved equipment and spaces according to applicable requirements.
The Ministry seeks to raise the level of discipline and health compliance, protect the health of citizens and residents, and limit any violating practices to ensure the safety of health procedures and the quality of services provided.
The “Ministry of Health” called on the community to report any health violations via the Unified Communication Center (937) to contribute to maintaining public health.
