Forecast of a Cold Wave Affecting Northern and Central Regions of the Kingdom
In a new development, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted—God willing—that parts of the northern and central regions of the Kingdom will be affected by a cold wave starting Wednesday and continuing until Thursday.
This weather wave will include the regions of Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, and Riyadh.
The Center explained that minimum temperatures during this period will range between 3°C and 1°C below zero, necessitating that necessary precautions be taken, especially during late night and the early dawn hours.
This weather condition is part of the usual winter fluctuations, which require attention to the warnings of the competent authorities, particularly for residents of open areas or those traveling on desert roads.
