The Saudi–US Biotech Coalition Summit launched in San Francisco, organized by the Ministry of Investment, as part of the 44th edition of the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference.
The summit was opened by the Executive Director General of Health Affairs at the Ministry of National Guard, who reviewed partnership opportunities in the biotechnology sector and its pivotal role in achieving global health and economic progress. He also emphasized the importance of unifying the efforts of various national institutions to accelerate the growth of significant cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
The summit discussed key strategic opportunities in the biotechnology sector, touching on the potential for enabling artificial intelligence and robotics in this field, as well as the future of investment in this strategic sector. Additionally, the discussions focused on ways to attract qualitative therapeutic innovations to the Kingdom and enhance the status of clinical trials that support the research, development, and innovation ecosystem.
