Saudi Arabia Welcomes Syria Ceasefire Agreement and SDF Integration
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s welcome of the ceasefire agreement and the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with all its civilian and military institutions, into the Syrian state.
The Kingdom also praised the efforts made by the United States of America in reaching this important agreement.
Saudi Arabia hopes that this agreement will succeed in enhancing security and stability in Syria, and contribute to building state institutions and enforcing the law in a manner that meets the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people for development and prosperity.
The Kingdom reaffirmed its full support for the efforts exerted by the Syrian government to enhance civil peace and preserve Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
