An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 shook Taitung County in southeastern Taiwan today.

Data from Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 11.9 kilometers, approximately 10.1 kilometers north of the Taitung County Government building.

There were no immediate reports of physical damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake.
