Ravens Undergo Daunting Selection Process to Replace Coach John Harbaugh

The leadership of the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL is moving toward finding a new successor for coach John Harbaugh, who led the team for a significant period, becoming the second longest-serving coach in the professional league behind the esteemed Mike Tomlin.

Focus is now on Mike McCarthy, formerly of the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys, as well as coach Brian Flores, who previously held the head coaching position for the Miami Dolphins and is currently the defensive assistant for the Minnesota Vikings.

It is noted that the team is among several clubs that have conducted interviews with candidates or are seeking to do so. Among these candidates are Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, and Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula.

The Baltimore Ravens have conducted interviews with a group of potential candidates, including Brian Flores and his successor in Miami, Mike McDaniel, in addition to former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh, who returned to his previous position as defensive assistant for the San Francisco 49ers last year.

Rams defensive pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase, along with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, have also been interviewed by a group of clubs, including the Baltimore Ravens.
