Abdulrahman Ghareeb opened Al Nassr’s lead in the match against Damac by scoring the first goal in the fifth minute of the encounter.

The Portuguese veteran Cristiano Ronaldo scored the second goal for his team, Al Nassr, helping solidify his position at the top of the Saudi Pro League scorers’ list with 16 goals. This achievement places him two goals ahead of his runner-up, the English striker Ivan Toney of Al Ahli, who scored a “hat-trick” for his team in a late match against Al Khaleej.

Later, Moroccan defender Jamal Harkass managed to reduce the deficit for Damac by scoring their first goal in the 68th minute.

With this victory, Al Nassr reclaimed second place in the Saudi League standings, which it had briefly lost to Al Ahli following the latter’s 4-1 win over Al Khaleej on Tuesday. Al Nassr now reaches a total of 37 points, occupying second place, leading the third-place Al Ahli on goal difference. Meanwhile, the dream of the league title remains 4 points away from the leaders, Al Hilal.

On the other hand, Damac’s tally stands at 11 points, placing them in fifteenth position.
