Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi emphasized on Saturday his pride and honor in the police forces, who are sons of the people contributing to the preservation of the nation’s security and stability, rather than protecting him personally or protecting the regime.

This came during Sisi’s participation in the celebration of the 74th anniversary of Police Day, which falls on January 25th of each year, at the conference complex at the Police Academy in New Cairo.
