Syrian Defense Ministry extends ceasefire with Syrian Democratic Forces for 15 days
The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, the extension of the declared ceasefire deadline with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) across all sectors of Syrian Army operations for a period of 15 days, effective from 23:00 (local time).
The Syrian Ministry of Defense stated in an official announcement that it is “studying the field situation and assessing the operational status to determine the next step.”
The ministry indicated that this extension comes in support of the U.S.-supervised operation to evacuate ISIS prisoners from SDF prisons to Iraq.
