Livingston Manager Raises Racism Allegation Against Aberdeen Following Bukila’s Statements

Livingston – UNN: Livingston manager David Martindale has promised to report to the Scottish FA regarding his team’s forward, Jeremy Bukila, after the latter was upset by a word he described as racist used by an opponent against the team’s goalkeeper.

Martindale, 47, stated that his team’s top scorer, aged 37, was “in tears” in the dressing room following the Scottish League Cup final match, which his team lost to Aberdeen 6-2 at Pittodrie Stadium on Saturday.

It is understood that, according to the complaint, the controversial word directed at Bukila during a second-half clash—which resulted in Bukila’s sending off—was of a racial nature.

BBC Scotland has contacted Aberdeen for an official comment.

“I have a 37-year-old scorer in tears; I will try to look into the matter,” Martindale said after the match.
