The 6th Al-Jouf Honey Festival Concludes
The activities of the 6th Al-Jouf Honey Festival concluded today, organized by the Beekeepers Cooperative Association in Dumat Al-Jandal governorate. The event witnessed significant attendance along with economic and educational activity that lasted for five days.
The Executive Director of the Beekeepers Cooperative Association in Al-Jouf, Muaidi bin Saud Al-Rayes, stated: “The festival achieved varying figures in the sales of honey and processed products. This sixth edition saw a high demand for pure honey and other bee products such as wax, royal jelly, and pollen, which enhances the festival’s position as a premier marketing platform for bee producers in the region.”
Al-Rayes added that the festival featured diverse participation from beekeepers across various regions of the Kingdom, who enriched the event with their expertise and products, alongside productive families who presented processed industries, drinks, and foods related to honey.
Al-Rayes noted that the Association succeeded during the festival days in concluding deals to provide hive supplies, which supports beekeepers in developing their apiaries. He extended his thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this national carnival, promising to develop future editions to serve the beekeeping profession and support the local economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
