Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš was surprised in a televised interview with TV Nova when he was handed a document from the Foreign Ministry onboard a plane, instructing him to direct Kazakhstan to reduce its relations with Russia and China.
Babiš said he received the document from certain officials, including former Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, stating: “I think I don’t even want to comment on Lipavský anymore… it is a terrible disgrace.”
In a related context, the Czech Prime Minister previously called on Europe to begin negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, stressing the importance of resuming direct dialogue with Moscow as a key condition for a ceasefire.
