Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (81) is in critical but stable condition in hospital

Medical sources reported on Sunday that Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York and well-known as a strong ally and former personal lawyer to former U.S. President Donald Trump, has been admitted to hospital.

Giuliani’s spokesperson said the 81-year-old’s condition is “critical but stable.”

It is worth noting that Giuliani earned the title “America’s Mayor” after leading emergency response efforts during the September 11, 2001 attacks, the terrorist strike on the World Trade Center in New York. However, in later years he gained attention for his strong support of U.S. political policies and his defense of Trump.

No official statement has yet been issued explaining the reason for his admission to medical care.
