The Saudi General Authority Opens Registration for Iftar Service Providers During the Month of Ramadan 1447 AH
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced the opening of applications for providers of Iftar services for fasting people during the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1447 AH.
The Authority stated that the announcement pertains to companies and factories wishing to provide Iftar services within the Two Holy Mosques, emphasizing that it does not include permits for Iftar spreads (Sufra).
It detailed the application requirements, which include obtaining a valid commercial register that includes catering or subsistence activities, a valid municipal license, or a license from the Food and Drug Authority for the operational headquarters in Makkah or Madinah. It is also required to have an active operational headquarters within one of the two cities (supported by proof of ownership or a documented lease agreement), an absence of any public health violations on record, and commitment to the visual identity and approved components of the meal. Additionally, the provider must have the capacity to supply no less than 10,000 meals per day.
The application process will take place by scanning the QR code during the period from 7/7/1447 AH to 10/7/1447 AH.
