The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched the “Comprehensive Package” for overseas pilgrims for the 1448 AH Hajj season, with the aim of standardizing the essential services provided to pilgrims from their arrival in the Kingdom until their departure, and simplifying contracting procedures through a unified electronic process. The package includes four main services covering services at the holy sites, hospitality facilities in Makkah and Madinah, transportation, and catering, with the option to add optional enrichment services that suit the needs and preferences of pilgrim groups.
The ministry explained that contracting for the package is carried out electronically through the “Electronic Track” platform via a single request, which contributes to simplifying procedures and organizing the contractual relationship between Hajj Affairs Offices, overseas Hajj agencies, and service-providing companies. The new mechanism aims to improve the efficiency of contracting operations and enhance transparency, in addition to achieving greater integration among the services provided to pilgrims throughout their stay in the Kingdom.
The “Comprehensive Package” also allows Hajj Affairs Offices and overseas agencies to design more flexible programs that align with the preferences of pilgrim groups by combining the four basic services and adding optional enrichment services under a unified contracting mechanism. The launch of the package comes as part of early preparations for the 1448 AH Hajj season and efforts to develop the system of services provided to pilgrims, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
