Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates lost to Al-Qadsiah 3–1 in a match hosted at the latter’s stadium on Sunday, in Round 31 of the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Nassr’s tally, featuring Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, remains frozen at 79 points at the top of the standings after this defeat.
The promoted side, Al-Qadsiah, maintains its superiority with this result, while the gap between Al-Nassr and their closest chaser, Al-Hilal, remains five points.
Near the goal, signs of sadness and frustration were clearly visible on Al-Nassr player Cristiano Ronaldo after the final whistle and as he left the pitch.
