Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reveals China’s role in supporting Iran’s missile program during a television interview
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, in an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes,” that China provides “certain support and specific components” to Iran’s missile manufacturing program.
Netanyahu added regarding Chinese support for Iran: “I don’t like that,” stressing that China should reassess its interests.
The Israeli Prime Minister questioned whether China would like to see Iran control the waterways on which it depends for energy supplies, or whether it would prefer to keep them open away from “violent extortion.”
Netanyahu described the Iranian regime as “fanatical and seeking to export Islamic revolutions,” expressing his belief that China should take this into account.
