Donegal and Kerry open the “All-Ireland” series with a renewed rivalry
A memorable start: Donegal will travel to Kerry in the opening round of this year’s “All-Ireland” series, in an exciting clash that revives memories of last year’s final.
“The Kingdom of Kerry” secured a comfortable 1–26 to 0–19 victory in the 2025 final at Croke Park, but Donegal regained some revenge by defeating them 3–20 to 2–10 in this year’s Division One final.
As Kerry enter the finals as the higher-seeded side, they will enjoy home advantage, while Donegal are forced to begin their campaign away from home after being eliminated from the Ulster quarter-finals by Down.
